The industry has been devastated by the murder of Tamil star Vijay Antony’s daughter, and an investigation is currently underway.
At the home of Vijay Antony, a well-known actor and music director in India, a horrible tragedy took place. His 16-year-old daughter’s life was tragically cut short, apparently by suicide, according to police reports.
Early in the morning, the young teen was discovered hanging in her Teynampet home. She was brought to a city hospital right away after prompt action was taken. When they arrived, the doctors declared her to be “brought dead.”
Antony had two daughters, one of them was the dead girl. According to PTI, she was pursuing her Class 12 studies at a nearby private institution. As a case has been filed and an investigation is ongoing, the authorities claimed they have started looking into this unfortunate and untimely death.
Vijay’s father, according to one X user, died by suicide. The user posted a video in which the actor spoke against the possibility of suicide.
Numerous condolences have been expressed.
“When I learned that Meera, the daughter of my friend and musician/actor/director Vijay Antony, had committed suicide, I was horrified. beyond words in pain after the loss of his wife Fatima. God grant them the fortitude to endure this calamity. RIP Meera,” wrote Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho, on X (formerly Twitter).
Veteran actor R Sarathkumar expressed his sadness at her passing, saying, “The news of the unfortunate and untimely death of the daughter of @vijayantony and Fatima is shocking beyond thoughts. There is no way to make up for Vijay Antony and Fatima’s enduring pain with comfort and sympathy.
In a letter of sympathy posted on the social media site X, he said, “Vijay I hope the almighty gives strength to your family to bear the unfathomable loss.”
Venkat Prabhu, a director, said on X, “Woke up to this stunning news! Sincere sympathies to Vijay Antony Sir and family.
