On her wedding day, Parineeti Chopra honored her grandmother in this way

“On my special day, I was without my naani, but I had a bit of her with me. Thank you, M,” Parineeti wrote.

New Delhi: Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha wed in a lavish ceremony last weekend in the Rajasthani city of Udaipur. The actress paid respect to her late grandmother at the wedding, according to a special post made by Manish Malhotra, who served as Parineeti’s official wedding designer, just a few days after the nuptials. I missed my naani on my special day, but I had a bit of her on me, Parineeti stated in a reshare of the post. Many thanks, M. Manish Malhotra shared the information and stated, “Some things make all the difference. I well recall Parineeti Chopra and I talking about the lehenga design, and she mentioned including her Nani’s challa (traditional keychain) in the design. She wanted to honor her nani, who wore the same challa in her saree with the keys as a sign of being the lady of the house, in a meaningful way.

“For Parineeti, the sound of the challa when her naani walked around the house was a melody of strength and grace,” Manish Malhotra continued. That’s when I realized we had to include that heirloom in her lehenga. Of course, we also included additional components that were important to both Parineeti and Raghav, such as London, music, Khanda Sahib, and more. Parineeti would have a piece of her on her special day, not just an accessory. I adore you, M., Parineeti Chopra wrote in response to his message. Nobody else compares to you.
