New Delhi: A considerable number of top-level employees have left the company in a series of exits over the past year, many of whom were hired when Ashneer Grover served as MD and CEO of BharatPe.
Nishant Jain, the Chief Business Officer of BharatPe, has formally left his position and joined stockbroking company Angel One, where he will serve as Executive Director and Chief Business Officer and be in charge of the company’s entire business operations.
Jain wrote on LinkedIn that his time at BharatPe had been “nothing short of extraordinary” in his leaving announcement. It has been an exhilarating experience, full with the satisfaction of leaving a lasting impression.
In 2020, Jain joined the CXO team at BharatPe and brought with him a lot of expertise in executive positions from his time at Pepsi and Zomato.
Jain’s resignation comes after a number of well-known employees have left BharatPe in the last year.
Senior executive Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl left his position as Chief Business Officer of Merchant Lending earlier this year after serving the organization for four years.
Suhail Sameer, the CEO of BharatPe, left his position earlier this year, and Mint was the first to reveal the news. The Chief Technology Officer Vijay Aggarwal, the Head of PostPe Nehul Malhotra, the Chief Product Officer for Lending and Consumer Products Rajat Jain, and the Vice President of Technology Geetanshu Singla all left their positions in the previous year. In 2022, Chief Revenue Officer Nishit Sharma and Satyam Nathani, another founder of BharatPe, also left the company. Bhavik Koladiya, a co-founder of BharatPe who supervised the fintech company’s product and technology business, also tendered his resignation.
It is clear from these exits that the majority of senior executives hired during Ashneer Grover’s time as MD and CEO of BharatPe have decided to quit the organization.
