PM Modi will open largest MICE facilities in Delhi at YashoBhoomi

The first phase of the Yashobhoomi India International Convention and Expo Center will be opened by PM Modi in New Delhi. With more than 11,000 delegate seats, it is one of the biggest MICE facilities in the world. The center was constructed for a total of Rs. 5400 crore.

On September 17, 2023, at 11 a.m., Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate to India the first phase of the India International Convention and Expo Centre, better known as “Yashobhoomi,” in Dwarka, New Delhi.

One of the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) facilities in the world is expected to be the Yashobhoom.

The Press Information Bureau estimates that it cost approximately Rs. 5400 crore to create the Convention and Expo Center.

-With a total project area of over 8.9 lakh square meters, Yashobhoomi is one of the largest MICE destinations in the world.

-Yashobhoomi is home to a spectacular Convention Center, several Exhibition Halls, and other facilities. The Convention Center has a capacity for over 11000 attendees and is made up of 15 convention rooms, including the Grand Ballroom, and 13 meeting rooms.

After the opening of the new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25 on the same day, Yashobhoomi will be connected to the Delhi Airport Metro Express line. The PM will also open a new metro station called “Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25” on the Delhi Airport Metro Express line that extends from Dwarka Sector 21.

-Delhi Metro would also shorten travel times by increasing the operating speed of Metro trains on the Airport Express Line from 90 to 120 km/hr. It will take roughly 21 minutes to travel from “New Delhi” to “Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.”

-According to official statements, Yashobhoomi’s Convention Center has the nation’s largest LED media facade.

The convention center was constructed with components and elements that drew inspiration from Indian culture, including terrazzo flooring with brass inlay that resembled rangoli patterns, suspended sound-absorbing metal cylinders, and illuminated pattern walls.

-The main auditorium can accommodate 6,000 people. Another 2,500 people can be accommodated in the big ballroom. 500 people can be seated in a large open space.

One of the largest exhibition halls in the world is available at “Yashobhoomi.” These display halls, which span over 1.07 lakh square meters in construction, will be used to host trade shows, exhibits, and business events. They are joined by a spacious foyer that is specially constructed with a copper ceiling that diffuses light from the numerous skylights.

One of the most cutting-edge automatic seating systems is used in the auditorium at Yashobhoomi, enabling the floor to be either flat or tiered in the style of an auditorium for various seating arrangements.

The auditorium’s usage of oak floors and acoustic wall panels will provide guests a top-notch experience.

-The Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 2,500 people and features a distinctive petal ceiling. Additionally, it includes a large open space with 500 seats. The 13 meeting rooms, which are dispersed across eight floors, are designed to accommodate various meetings of various sizes.
