Flying drones, capturing images and films at the RSS headquarters is now illegal

Delhi ( News Trust of India) : The order issued by the police specified that shooting images from video or drone in the RSS headquarters area is being restricted. The order will be effective from January 29 to March 28 this year.

Security has been tightened up at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters in Nagpur ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Citing a potential threat to the RSS headquarters, the police have banned taking photographs of the premises, flying drones and filming videos of the headquarters. This decision of the police has been implemented till March 28, 2024. Let’s see why this decision has been decided.

There may be a possible risk
Nagpur Joint Commissioner of Police Aswati Dorje issued an order in this respect under Section 144 (1) (3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) on Sunday. The RSS headquarters is located in a densely populated area surrounded by hotels, lodges and coaching schools, the order added. For this reason, individuals passing by might capture pictures or create videos or undertake drone videography. This could constitute a possible threat to the headquarters.

Action will be taken against violators

The order issued by the police specified that shooting images from video or drone in the RSS headquarters area is being restricted. Any anyone contravening this order shall be prosecuted under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, the police stated. The order will be effective from January 29 to March 28 this year.
