India has won 32 medals in 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China

NEW DELHI: At the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, India has won 32 medals thus far. This featured 12 silver, 12 bronze, and 8 gold. With 18 medals so far, the Indian team in Hangzhou has been headed by the shooters. Six gold, seven silver, and five bronze medals have been won by the shooters in various competitions. Women’s cricket and equestrian were where India won its other two gold medals. India has won the most medals so far in rowing, with two silver and three bronze, followed by shooting. In addition to the two competitions, India also took home three medals in sailing and two in equestrian, including a gold. So far, cricket, squash, tennis, and wushu have all won medals.

Men’s 10m Air Pistol, Men’s 10m Air Rifle, Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions, Women’s 10m Air Pistol, Women’s 25m Pistol, Women’s Cricket, and Equestrian Dressage Team are India’s gold medal-winning events thus far.

Gunner Esha Singh has won four medals—one gold and three silver—leading all Indian athletes with multiple medals thus far in the competition. There are four medals in all that Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar has won: two gold, one silver, and one bronze. Ashi Chouksey, a rifle shooter, also has three medals, two silver and one bronze. Aside from Palak Gulia, who has two medals for India, Sift Kaur Samra, Anush Agarwalla, Ashish, Punit Kumar, Anant Jeet Singh Naruka, Ramita Jindal, Bheem Singh, and Jaswinder Singh also have two medals each.
