The Bengaluru Bandh is currently in effect, but the city’s traffic police and the airport authorities have teamed up to offer essential assistance for the general people, assuring a seamless travel experience during these trying times.
Recognizing the Bengaluru Bandh
In response to the Karnataka State Private Vehicles Owner Association’s request for a “Bengaluru Bandh,” the Bengaluru traffic police have issued a warning to help locals organize their commutes efficiently.
Avoiding Areas of High Congestion
It is suggested to avoid the following regions to prevent probable traffic jams and disruptions:
Recommended Alternative Routes: 1. KG Road 2. Sheshadri Road 3. GT Road 4. Roads Surrounding Freedom Park and Majestic Bus Stand
The traffic police have offered alternate routes that commuters can follow to avoid the worst of the gridlock and still get where they need to go:
Route 1 :RR Junction to Khodays Circle
It is advised to take a detour near Krishna Floor Mill and continue on to Malleshwaram for vehicles traveling from RR Junction towards Khodays Circle.
Route 2: G T Road to Goodshed Road
In order to get to Okalipuram from Goodshed Road, you might choose to head toward G T Road via Sangolli Rayanna Circle. You can then travel in the direction of Sujatha Theatre from there.
Route 3 connects Sheshadripuram Road with Ananda Rao Circle.
The best route for people coming from Ananda Rao Circle is to head toward Old JDS Office Road and then merge into Sheshadripuram Road.
Route 4: Basaveshwara Circle to Mysuru Bank Circle
The recommended path is to head toward Palace Road, aim for the Maharani Junction underpass, and then continue towards Basaveshwara Circle if your journey begins at Mysuru Bank Circle.
You may avoid the traffic and travel easily even during the Bengaluru Bandh by using these other routes. Keep yourself informed, schedule your commute appropriately, and navigate the city with ease.
