Vivek Ramaswamy Receives Criticism For His Ukraine Position after “Cuddling Up To Putin”

Former vice president Mike Pence, former governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, and former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley all strongly criticized Ramaswamy for his isolationist stance.

Vivek Ramaswamy, an Indian-American running for president in the Republican party, angered his competitors in the Republican primary when he declared that he would not defend Ukraine in its conflict with Russia, joining former president Donald Trump in wanting to end vital support for Kyiv.

The multimillionaire biotech entrepreneur, 38, added, “We have to be honest with the American people on this problem.

“Ukraine is not excellent only because (Russian President Vladimir) Putin is a bad ruler. Ramaswamy made the comment during the second Republican presidential primary on Wednesday at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, California. “This is a country that has actually banned 11 opposition parties,” he said.

Former vice president Mike Pence, former governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, and former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley all strongly criticized Ramaswamy for his isolationist stance.

Haley, who is also of Indian descent, was the first to speak out against Ramaswamy’s plan.

“A win for Russia is a win for China,” she declared.

Ramaswamy rebutted this.

“The actual opponent is China. We are pushing China further closer to Russia. This country’s president only last week hailed a Nazi inside his own ranks, therefore we need a fair peace plan to put an end to this, he added.

Haley and Pence both criticized Ramaswamy for his remarks.

“Vivek, if you allow Putin to have Ukraine, then gives China permission to annex Taiwan. Strength brings peace, he declared. “We require a fair peace strategy. Ramaswamy said, “We need a sensible strategy to bring about peace.

Christie criticized Ramaswamy as well.

“The Russian assault in Ukraine is being funded by the Chinese. With Chinese assistance, North Korea is now also delivering more advanced weaponry, joining Iran in doing so, the official added.

Christie remarked, “Some of these people’s naivete on this stage is amazing.

“Look, I realize that people want to visit Putin and speak with him. What’s this? George W. Bush concurred. Barack Obama also did. Donald Trump also did. Joe Biden agreed, stating that a little invasion wouldn’t be too horrible. Every single one of them was mistaken, he added.

“The Chinese-Russian alliance is something we have to fight against, we have to acknowledge it as a matter of fact right now. And running over to Vladimir Putin and snuggling up to him won’t help us solve the problem. Now, Donald Trump claimed that Vladimir Putin was a terrific leader. This is the one who is killing citizens of his own nation. And now, lacking blood, he’s heading to Ukraine to kill innocent bystanders and abduct 20,000 kids,” he claimed.

If we give him any of Ukraine, Christie said, “and let me tell you, if you think that’s where it’s going to stop, next will be Poland.”

Ramaswamy claimed that he was the top target of his fellow Republican candidates in an email to his supporters following the debate.

“Nikki Haley stated she felt “dumber” after hearing me speak. Tim Scott came after my track record in business. The Super PAC for Ron DeSantis wouldn’t quit tweeting about me. Last night, they started attacking my platform, but I was concentrating on the Truth,” he remarked.
