V R Rajesh will take over as CEO of Ogilvy India

The company’s board of directors will gain three Chief Creative Officers, and agency veteran Piyush Pandey will become Chief Advisor.

A leadership transition has been announced by Ogilvy India, with incumbent Group President V.R. Rajesh ascending to CEO. Beginning on January 1, 2024, this becomes law. Hepzibah Pathak also assumes the position of executive chairperson. For the first time ever, a woman will hold this position.

In his new role as Chief Advisor, Piyush Pandey, Chairman Global Creative and Executive Chairman of Ogilvy India, will collaborate closely with the leadership group. Pandey won’t be in charge of daily operations, Global CEO Devika Seth Bulchandani stated when speaking to the media in Mumbai. Veteran of 41 years at Ogilvy Pandey believes that stalwarts should take on significant tasks when they are prepared. “I will be performing the duties of a person who mentors and guides but is not in a position of authority.”

Three Chief Creative Officers (CCOs), Sukesh Nayak, Kainaz Karmakar, and Harshad Rajadhyaksha, will join the board of Ogilvy India, according to a statement released by Ogilvy. Prem Narayan, the agency’s chief strategy officer, also joins the board.
