The trailer of the much-awaited romantic film ‘Kushi’ was released on Wednesday, August 9. The launch event was attended by the entire star cast and crew of the film. However, the film’s lead actress, Samantha Ruth, could not attend the trailer launch. When asked about his co-star Vijay spoke about her dedication and hard work to finish the film’s shooting on time.
SAMANTHA SKIPS KUSHI TRAILER LAUNCH
Ahead of the trailer launch, Samantha shared a new poster from the film to set up the countdown. Samantha, who is currently on an acting break, was diagnosed with myositis. She recently revealed that she will be taking an acting break to recover from the disease. At the event, Vijay Deverakonda praised Samantha’s dedication and revealed that he always admired the actress.

He said, “She is someone I admired when I watched Em Maya Chesave and watched all her other films. It was like when you have a crush on an actress and when you love an actress on screen. When you work with her personally and she is working really hard and she is doing her best. I miss her here as my partner in this film.”
He further added, “I am sitting on the sofa and promoting this film alone. I miss her but she needs her time. We are all happy and we will do her job on her behalf. She is an amazing person and she did an incredible job in the film.”
ABOUT ‘KUSHI’ TRAILER
The trailer launch event was held in Hyderabad. Samantha and Vijay reunited for ‘Kushi’ after their 2018 film ‘Mahanati’. ‘Kushi’ is an inter-faith love story. The 2-minute, 41-second trailer shows the introduction to Vikram (Vijay) and Aradhya’s (Samantha) love story.

‘Kushi’ is directed by Shiva Nirvana and also features Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore, Lakshmi, Rohini, Ali and Rahul Ramakrishna in significant roles. The film is produced by Mythri Makers and will release on September 1.
