The first high-end curved-screen smartphone from Itel has been launched. Ethiopia has announced the Itel S23+. The most recent smartphone from the manufacturer has a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED curved screen. According to reports, it has a Unisoc T616 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The device practically increases the RAM to 8GB by using the ROM. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities is already included.
Itel has not yet disclosed the cost or availability of the Itel S23+. According to reports, the recently released will only come with an 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. ItelOS V13.0.0, which is based on Android 13, is pre-installed on the device out of the box. It is introduced as the first high-end curved-screen smartphone from the firm.

Itel claims that the 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display on the Itel S23+ has a screen-to-body ratio of 93 percent. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is installed on the display as protection. The new smartphone is powered by a 12 nm Unisoc T616 SoC, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, according to a press announcement provided by Addis Insight. Additionally, the Itel S23+ has virtual RAM technology, which enables users to increase the RAM by as much as 8GB. It has onboard storage that can go up to 256GB.
The Itel S23+ has a dual rear camera arrangement with an LED flash and a 50-megapixel sensor for images and videos. A 32-megapixel sensor is located on the front of the device for selfies and video calls. For authentication, it has an in-display fingerprint sensor. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W cable charging is included in the Itel S23+.
The device will replace the Itel S23, which was revealed in India earlier this year. The latter has a Unisoc T606 processor and up to 8GB of RAM as well as 128GB of internal storage. It has an HD+ (720 x 1,612 pixels) IPS display with a 6.6-inch screen size, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
