Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Dehradun : Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand and spoke about the history of great Indians who have contributed to the glory of Mother India over the years and guided society in the direction of righteousness. The scene is filled with icons whose existence is known only by legend, yet even now, when we look at the prime minister, parts of those legendary people still reverberate within him. The diligent efforts made by the country’s prime minister to restore India’s standing as a world leader have sowed the seeds of hope and loyalty among the enormous 1.4 billion Indians. The Prime Minister’s ideas, tactics, and plans are resonating not just inside India but also with foreign countries.

The Gujarat Chief Minister emphasized the Prime Minister’s prioritization of initiating the “Vibrant Gujarat” Investors Summit while serving as the state’s chief minister. This served as inspiration for the State Government, which decided to organize the “Destination Uttarakhand” Investors Summit and promised to do it every two years. The primary objective of “Destination Uttarakhand” is to promote all-encompassing state development by balancing the environment, the economy, green initiatives, and job opportunities. At the Global Investors Summit, it was hoped to receive investment bids totaling INR 2.5 lakh crore; however, agreements have already surpassed this goal. Proposals for investments of INR 44 thousand crore are currently being implemented, with the goal of creating more jobs for the local population. The Chief Minister emphasized the parameters that investors must meet. These conditions include favorable business climates, efficient law and order, laws that encourage investment, improved connectivity, and better health and climate conditions—all of which Uttarakhand is known for. Furthermore, he declared that an even grander “Convention Center” would soon be built in Uttarakhand, to be comparable to Gujarat’s “Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Center.”

After declaring Uttarakhand as “Devbhoomi,” the chief minister rejoiced over the yearly flood of millions of pilgrims and visitors. The state effectively administers seven crore people annually, which is evidence of its strong law and order structure. Expert “Nivesh Mitras” have been assigned to different industries, serving as the only point of contact for business owners making investments over INR 5 crore. At the same time, Uttarakhand is building new airports, ropeways, and heliports to broaden its transportation network and create its identity in connectivity.
