New Delhi: The Department of Telecom announced on Wednesday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the seventh iteration of the nation’s largest telecom industry event, “India Mobile Congress 2023.” The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) collaborated to organize the three-day event.
“Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi set to inaugurate India Mobile Congress 2023 on 27th October, 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi,” the department tweeted on X.
The startup program “Aspire,” which will focus on sparking the future of entrepreneurship growth among young innovators and industry delegates in the telecom and other digital sectors, will also be introduced during this year’s India Mobile Congress.
This year, the event is anticipated to draw more than 1,000,000 attendees, 1,300 delegates, 400 speakers, 225+ exhibitors, and 400 startups. There will be participation from 31 different nations overall.
