Mussoorie (News Trust of India) : Renowned cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar has blessed the lovely town of Mussoorie. Touching down at the Jolly Grant airport in the Dehradun region this afternoon, Sachin proceeded on his journey to Mussoorie from the aforementioned airport. Accompanying him were his wife Anjali and daughter Sara, who had already stepped foot in Mussoorie on the preceding Monday.
Sachin Tendulkar, a legendary personality in the sphere of cricket, has decided to call the Six Senses Hotel in Mussoorie his temporary dwelling during this tour. Personally, I retain a tremendous admiration for Sachin Tendulkar, an individual of immense brilliance and charisma. It’s worth mentioning that this is not Sachin’s maiden visit to Mussoorie; in fact, both his daughter Sara and son Arjun had their formative schooling in this picturesque mountain town.
Even during the pinnacle of his cricketing career, Sachin Tendulkar would seek refuge in the calm surrounds of Mussoorie whenever a respite from the rigors of cricket offered itself. This getaway to the “queen of mountains” was a frequent occurrence for Tendulkar, considering his familial connections and the presence of dear friends in the region.
