After seeing the viral photos, Shashi Tharoor and Mahua Moitra denounce “low-level politics

Shashi Tharoor, a member of the Congress, and Mahua Moitra, a member of the Trinamool Congress, both condemned “low-level politics” after online rumors of a secret meeting were spread about them while they were celebrating a birthday together.

Moitra is several years younger than him, according to Tharoor, and he considers her to be a “child.” He also confirmed that the pictures were taken at his sister and other 15 people’s birthday celebration.

Tharoor remarked, “This is such low-level politics.” “That kid had a birthday. She isn’t a child, yet to me, she resembles one. She is between ten and twenty years my junior.

He clarified, “It was her birthday celebration, and there were fifteen people there. “My sister was among the guests, and she attended. Others, however, were purposefully omitted by others, making it appear as though a private meeting was being held in secret. If it was a secret gathering, then anyone views these images should consider who would have snapped the picture. She had a birthday.

Additionally, Moitra claimed that the “BJP’s troll sena” had been sharing her private images, and she expressed her “most amusement” at seeing the images. She emphasized that the pictures had been removed from their context.

Bengali ladies lead active lives. Not a lie,” Moitra commented in reaction to the pictures showing her wearing skirts and smoking a cigar on X (previously Twitter).

She said, laughing at the “leaked” pictures, “I like the green dress on me better than the white blouse. And why bother cropping when you can include everyone at dinner?

The attention paid to such issues and the online trolls have drawn criticism from both Moitra and Tharoor. They have exhorted people to pay attention to more crucial matters.

This incident serves as a reminder of the risks associated with online disinformation and the value of critical thinking. Before sharing information, it’s critical to be aware of its source and to confirm its veracity.
